La Palma Mexican Grill The whole family will enjoy this classic Mexican diner that serves traditional dishes using only the best ingredients. Choose from appetizers, like the queso fundido or the jalapeno poppers. Their house specialties include the carne ranchera and the pina rellena. We also like the vegetarian fajita, the pollo chipotle, the tacos de carne asada, and the shrimp chimichangas. Or get creative by making your own combination meal, choosing exactly what you like. For those who prefer lighter options, try the taco salad or something from the a la carte menu. The kids can create their own dishes with the build-your-own children's meal. They are located at 22 N. Market St. and are open every day except Sunday. 3. Sam's Seafood Steakhouse Find a variety of great seafood and steak when you bring the family here to this popular eatery, located at 281 N. Comrie Ave. We recommend starting with the flash-fried calamari or the onion ring tower. Or have a cup of the seafood chowder and a black and blue salad while your roasted red pepper provolone burger, New York strip steak, or shrimp scampi is prepared. For the kids, the boneless wings or cheeseburgers are always a hit. Sam's is open every day except for Tuesday.
